Minnie Bell's Soul Movement
Minnie Bell's Soul Movement is owned and operated by Fernay McPherson. Fernay graduated from Kitchen Academy Culinary School in Sacramento, CA. She was born and raised in the Western Addition of San Francisco, CA. Fernay has always had a passion for cooking.
As a child, she enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen with family. The name "Minnie Bell's" was inspired by her late grandmother Lillie Bell Riley and her great aunt Minnie Scott.
She has worked as a line cook and pastry assistant under Chef Tanya Holland of Brown Sugar Kitchen in Oakland, CA. Fernay has also worked has the culinary instructor at the Ella Hill Hutch Community Center.
